WELCOME TO
AUTISM OUTDOORS
Mission:
" To empower individuals with autism through nature-based experiences, vocational training, and therapeutic programs that enhance their quality of life and independence, while fostering connection with Oregon's natural environment."
Meet The Founders

Michael Crosby
At 40 years old, I’m the father of six children, three of whom are diagnosed on different levels of the autism spectrum. Experiencing firsthand the gaps in meaningful, hands-on opportunities for neurodivergent individuals, we recognized the urgent need for outdoor programs that go beyond “accommodation” and instead foster real learning, growth, and community. Autism Outdoors was founded on the belief that nature should be accessible, engaging, and tailored for every person—especially those with disabilities who thrive when given the right environment to explore, play, and develop life skills.
#BeAutsome

Tony Clarke
As a Father of multiple children on the Autism Spectrum, and realizing in my older years that I too am on the spectrum, Autism is a large part of my Families daily life. Remembering some of the challenges that I faced as a child, and watching my children face their own challenges is what started the fire inside me that has become part of our vision for Autism Outdoors. We look forward to the future of Autism Outdoors and having you in it!
